Freedom QJ League has digitally tested the players of the league's member teams
As part of monitoring teams' preparation for the season, the Freedom QJ League's sports analytics unit tested several League teams during the ongoing training camps.
With the help of special digital technology, the widest possible coverage and data collection is ensured, and the physical and technical preparation of young players is objectively monitored. The tests are recorded directly on a mobile phone. The system processes the video with the help of artificial intelligence and the test results are immediately available in the personal cabinet.
The platform enables the creation of a database of digital player profiles that can be sorted by age and skill. Each metric is validated by a processed video with date, time and machine vision tags, determining the players' overall level of physical and technical fitness.
«It is important for us to understand the level of players before the start of the season. So that our further analyses of their play are based on the data they can show during their games. This is part of our work, so that we can be as useful as possible for players and coaches», – said QJ League sports analyst Dmitriy Vasiliev.
Plans are in place to test every QJ League team in the near future, as well as repeat testing throughout the season.
