FC Taraz – represents the city of the same name. Champion of Kazakhstan in 1996. Winner of the Cup of Kazakhstan in 2004. The football school of the club is one of the best in the country, from the walls of which were released a large number of footballers of the National team. Playing at the Central Stadium of the city with a capacity of 12,525 people (the youth team plays matches at the Zhastar stadium).
