About the club

Zhenis Astana football club was founded in 1964 and is a three-time champion of Kazakhstan and a winner of the Kazakhstan Cup. Throughout its history, the club has changed its name several times, playing under the names Dynamo, Tselinnik, Tsesna, Astana, and Namys.
