75th Anniversary of Seilda Baishakov

Today, Seilda Ikramovich Baishakov would have turned 75.

Seilda Baishakov is a legend of Kazakh football, to which he dedicated his entire life. He spent ten years and played hundreds of matches for Kairat, as well as two matches for the USSR national team.

After finishing his playing career, Seilda Ikramovich continued to serve the game he loved – for many years he worked as a coach and later held executive positions in the football federation.

Baishakov was one of the first to support the Freedom QJ League. As its ambassador, he made the symbolic first kick at the League’s debut match. Later, he actively and consistently participated in its events.

Seilda Ikramovich passed away in July 2023.
