The President of the Freedom QJ League, Rokhus Shokh, made a working visit to Germany at the invitation of the Borussia Mönchengladbach management. During the visit, he toured the club and academy infrastructure and held talks with his German colleagues.

As a reminder, this year the "Black-White-Greens" will face the QJL All Star team in the League's traditional All-Star Match. Academy graduates born in 2009 will travel to Almaty; many of them were part of the squad that secured a historic German U-17 championship title last season.

Rokhus Shokh visited all the club's key facilities, including the main team's arena, Borussia-Park. Opened in 2004, this stadium is one of the largest in the Bundesliga, with a seating capacity of 54,010 spectators.

He also met with Steffen Korell, advisor to the club's management, and Mirko Sandmöller, director of the club's academy.

"I would like to thank the management of Borussia for the invitation and the warm welcome. I am delighted that this year, our festive QJL All Star match will feature a club that possesses both a rich heritage and a clear, sustainable vision for the future centered around youth development. This is what unites us.

Back in the seventies, the 'Black-White-Greens' won five German championships, lifted the UEFA Cup twice, and reached the European Cup final. It was during that era that the Danish footballer Allan Simonsen, who won the Ballon d'Or in 1977, shone in their squad.

World and European champions fought for these colors—such as Jupp Heynckes, who needs no introduction, and club legend Berti Vogts. The Borussia academy continues to produce top-tier footballers in the modern era as well, with the brightest star undoubtedly being Marc-André ter Stegen. We should also not forget that Marco Reus broke into the German national team and became the Marco Reus everyone knows so well precisely through his football at the Mönchengladbach club.

This is a club that takes pride in its history while looking firmly toward tomorrow. That is why very ambitious projects have been implemented here in recent years. This includes not only the grand stadium, which, by the way, will soon become even larger in capacity, but also a modern training ground, a multi-functional complex featuring a hotel, museum, fan shop, medical center, and offices, alongside an academy and a dormitory for the youngsters. And all of this is within walking distance!

'Gladbach' is quietly but surely moving toward one day repeating or even surpassing its 'Golden Era.' The academy's recent results speak volumes about the fact that the club has chosen the right direction.

For all these reasons, the match between QJL All Star and Borussia is a more than worthy headline for our main event of the season. We look forward to welcoming everyone from Almaty to the game on July 11th! As always, it will be festive, thrilling, and unforgettable," said Rokhus Shokh following the visit.
