For two days the QJ League footballers have revealed the strongest on virtual fields

13-14 June held the annual cyber tournament QJ League. 32 participants from each team of the League gathered in Almaty. The tournament started with a media day: for each player a game T-shirt in individual design was prepared and a photo session was organised as at major cyber tournaments. All these materials were used during the broadcast of the final day of the tournament and in the League's social networks.

After that, the group stage matches began, which took place in the Fusion Cyber Arena. 32 players were divided into 8 groups of 4 participants: each player played a match against all opponents, and the best two players advanced to the playoffs.

One eighth was held in the format of up to two wins. According to the results of matches in this stage in the quarter-finals passed Daniyar Sharabadin (Kaisar U18), Issa Iskakov (Aksu U18), Maksat Abrayev (Astana U17), Azamat Askaruly (Taraz U17), Arafat Valiyev (Zhas Kyran U18), Daniyal Nazarov (Astana U18), Nurmambet Onlassyn (Taraz U18) and Bakhtiyar Aldashev (Kairat U17).

The quarter-final matches were held at the Event Space in the Forum shopping centre and broadcasted on the league's YouTube channel and Sport+ Qazaqstan TV channel. Various sports activities were organised for fans at the event, and everyone had a chance to play EA FC24 by QJ Leaguie teams.

In the semi-finals formed the following pairs: Sharabadin – Abrayev and Valiyev – Aldashev. In exciting matches stronger were the players of Astana and Kairat. Curiously, and in the league U17A leading these two teams.

Before the final match, a show match was organised between professional cyber player Olzhas "Zhasikfifa" Yessentayev and popular media footballer Temirlan "Erzhanovich" Orynbayev. And the media guests did not play for QJ League teams anymore: especially for the event two legendary teams were added to the football simulator - football stars of the times of Independent Kazakhstan, as well as players of the Soviet era. Some of them became guests of the evening, these are the ambassadors of the league: Vait Talgayev and Yevgeny Yarovenko, as well as Sergey Volgin and Samat Smakov. The game was played in the "mystery ball" mode with strengthening the characteristics of the players at any moment. "Zhasikfifa" won, playing as a team of legends of the 70-80s.

«I didn't really expect such a scale from the tournament, as I have played on many. The organisers have done a great job, the preparation is very good, commentators, professional chairs, so many lad screens, as a spectator I am very pleased to see it!», – shared "Zhasikfifa".

The cyber tournament ended with the final with a loud sign – Astana vs. Kairat. Additional intrigue to the confrontation between Abraev and Aldashev was added by the fact that they may meet face to face in a week in the Matchweek VII of QJL U17A. So far, their teams have not lost points and go to the top of the table.

The final was held in the format of up to three wins. Bakhtiyar Aldashev quickly found the key to his opponent's goal and managed to beat him in three matches.

«Thank you all for the support. We lacked confidence, after the 0:4 defeat we lost the desire to play further», – said Maksat Abrayev after the final.

«Very happy that I won this tournament. There's no tournament like this that you don't want to win. Very happy to have participated. It was a bit unusual to play with a wired gamepad. The hardest match I think I had was against Arafat from "Jas Kyran". And on 23 June we will play each other again with Maksat in a real match, we will try to win there», – shared his emotions after the victory Bakhtiyar Aldashev.

The champion was awarded the coveted trophy by QJ League President Rokhus Shokh.

This cyber tournament has already become traditional - last year during the summer break the first winner of the QJ CyberCup became the player of Aksu Yernazar Dyussekov.
