Matchweek 11 of Freedom QJ League W is approaching. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming fixtures.

Zhetysu – Shakhter

After a long streak of defeats, the “Cinderellas” finally claimed a victory in the previous round – and now have a chance to strengthen their return to the medal race by beating Zhetysu.

There are only four matches left, with Shakhter still set to host Kairat and Astana. This means that if the Taldykorgan side pulls off an upset, it could seriously complicate things for their rivals.

Tobol – Aktobe

This is arguably the most unpredictable game of the round. The hosts have won their last two matches convincingly, while the visitors have been unlucky in this period – but the “red-and-whites” lost to Kairat and Astana, and before that they had a four-game winning streak.

It’s worth recalling that the match in Aktobe ended in a narrow 3–2 win for Tobol. The visitors will surely be eager to take revenge on the home turf of their key rivals.

Kairat – Ordabasy

The Almaty team had no trouble in their first match against the Shymkent side. However, anything can happen on the pitch – and the season’s collection of surprises might well gain another addition.

Astana – Irtysh

It was the visitors who caused Astana to now trail Kairat by six points – the capital side suffered a bitter 2–1 defeat in Pavlodar.

Back then, Aisana Akhmediyan was involved in both goals, but she hasn’t had a goal or assist in four straight games. Can she rediscover her scoring touch against an opponent desperate for revenge?
