With the completion of the third edition of the flagship tournament, another season of Fantasy QJ League has also come to an end.
This year, the silver medal went to Mikhail Mamontov, a player of Shakhtyor’s youth team. His prize was a PlayStation 5 console.
Mamontov, who also played in the Freedom QJ League last season, shared his thoughts on participating in the fantasy tournament.
– I’m very happy to finish in the prizes. I take part every year, and this is my first time winning such a major reward.
– Which player became the biggest discovery of the season for you?
– Gleb Makridov. Also, Naiman Satenov from Shakhtyor and Abylay Toleukhan from Kairat had a strong season.
– Did you have any tips or tricks that helped you achieve this result?
– I know the guys I selected quite well and understand how they play. I knew what to expect from each of them.
– Did you watch the League matches, or did you rely more on numbers and statistics?
– Yes, I watched the games, especially Shakhtyor’s matches. Sometimes I watched other teams as well. But I followed the statistics too.
– You won a PlayStation 5. Do you have a favorite game for the console?
– Yes, EA FC. I plan to play as Barcelona.
– Will you continue participating in Fantasy QJ League, and what are your wishes for the next season?
– Yes, I plan to join again next year. Hopefully, I can win first place. As for wishes – I’d love to see a special tournament dedicated to the 2026 World Cup.
– Who will you support at the World Cup?
– Spain. But it would also be great if Portugal wins.
