Experts from the Sports Analytics Unit (SAU) of the Freedom QJ League continue to measure fitness indicators of players from participating teams.

Starting from this season, the collection and analysis of individual fitness data has become one of the key priorities in the SAU’s work.

The unit’s representatives conduct measurements of players’ individual physical indicators using OVR Performance equipment. Running, plyometric, and technical tests are carried out multiple times throughout the year, allowing for dynamic assessment and comparison of the data.

This week, SAU experts are testing players from southern region teams — Taraz and Ontustik. Ordabasy players have already undergone testing earlier.

In addition to OVR Performance sensors, the League’s experts also plan to collect player data this season using other technologies, such as smart cameras and GPS trackers. Regional inspectors will regularly monitor training intensity and provide recommendations to coaching staff.

Based on the collected data, model characteristics for each playing position will be developed, along with specific recommendations for team coaches.
