Main Heroines of the Season: Freedom QJ League W Leaders by Individual Stats

Main image

The final round of the Freedom QJ League W is approaching – this Sunday the last four matches of the first-ever girls’ season will be played.

Let’s take a look at the season’s leaders in several key categories.

Top Scorer Race: Is Nikolenko Untouchable?

The player with the most goals in the inaugural season is Milena Nikolenko (Kairat, 24). She is followed by Assyl Pazyl (Astana, 19) and Sofiya Rybak (Astana, 17).

It’s worth noting that the Kairat forward needed far less time to achieve this result compared to her pursuers – just nine matches (601 minutes in total).

In the final round, Astana will face Shakhtyor. Asyl will need a penta-trick to catch up with Milena – and that’s only if Nikolenko doesn’t score against Tobol.

Assists: Makhash Dominates

Zhaniya Makhash (Kairat) leads the assist chart with 21 in 12 matches. Second place is shared by Sofia Yagudina (Kairat) and Assyl Pazyl (Astana) – 12 each.

Zhaniya’s most successful match in this regard came against Tobol – her team won 11:1, and she delivered four assists, also scoring a goal herself in Kostanay.

Interestingly, Zhaniya is the best assistant in the history of all Freedom QJ League tournaments. Second place belongs to Daulet Orynbassar, who registered 19 assists across two seasons.

Who Will Be the Goal+Assist Queen?

When it comes to overall goal contributions, the intrigue remains. Three players are tied at the top of the goal+assist chart: Milena Nikolenko, Zhaniya Makhash, and Assyl Pazyl – each with 31 points in the system. The upcoming weekend will be decisive in this race.

Reminder: all matches of the final matchweek of the Freedom QJ League will kick off simultaneously at 14:00 on September 21.
