In Matchweek XX of the Freedom QJ League, Shakhtyor demolished Kaisar. The game at Gani Muratbayev Stadium ended with a resounding 6-0 victory for the Karaganda side.
The star of the match was Gleb Makridov. The Miners’ super-sub scored a hat-trick, provided an assist, and reached a long-awaited historic milestone.
Now in his third and final season in the Freedom QJ League, Makridov has accumulated a total of 38 goal involvements (26 goals + 12 assists) in the league’s flagship tournament – setting a new all-time record, surpassing Dastan Satpayev’s previous mark of 36.
Makridov has also caught up with Satpayev in total goals scored in the main tournament – both have 26 goals. However, while the Kairat forward reached that tally in just 28 games, Shakhtyor’s midfielder, who leads this season in minutes played, needed 52 matches to do so. Gleb still has two more games left to claim sole leadership.
Meanwhile, Kairat’s Daniyar Tashpulatov remains the overall leader in assists in the top tournament with 16. Among active players registered for the 2025 season, the closest are Shakhtyor’s midfielders Abylay Toleukhan (14) and Azamat Tuyakbayev (13). Makridov currently has 12 assists.
If we count all Freedom QJ League competitions combined, the undisputed leader in both goals and total goal contributions is Kairat’s Daulet Orynbassar – 45 goals and 19 assists in 35 matches. The best playmaker overall is Kairat midfielder Zhaniya Makhash, who has delivered 23 decisive passes.
