The visit of the experts from the Sports and Analytical Unit (SAU) of the Freedom QJ League to Karaganda has come to an end.
SAU representatives, including regional coordinator Evgeny Yarovenko, met with coaches and specialists from the Shakhter football center. Additionally, the experts measured the players' individual physical metrics using OVR Performance equipment.
As a reminder, throughout the year, representatives of the sports and analytical unit will be measuring the running, plyometric, and technical metrics of all male and female players in the League. To do this, they use a variety of modern tools: OVR Performance devices, smart cameras, and GPS trackers.
Based on the information gathered, the plan is to establish model characteristics for each playing position and develop specific recommendations for the coaches.
Following the 4th week of League A, Shakhter is in the top three in three out of four age categories, including the flagship U-18 tournament.
