Head of the League’s Sports and Analytics Unit, Arsen Inkarbekov, spoke about the progress of Freedom QJ League’s pilot project for integrating smart cameras into the training process, implemented in cooperation with Freedom Telecom and BigBro.
– As of today, our cameras have been installed in Astana, Shymkent, and Karaganda. Significant work has been done to integrate them into the FF Manager digital platform — for analyzing both training sessions and league matches.
To record a training session using a smart camera, a specialist simply needs to open their calendar and schedule the camera’s activation with one click. The FF Manager platform automatically sends all the necessary information to the camera, so when the training starts, it becomes available for live monitoring.
After the session, experts from the Sports and Analytics Unit can review the footage and send feedback to the coach, while the BigBro service analyzes players’ technical and tactical actions as well as fitness data.
The FF Manager platform, smart cameras, and statistics are now united within a single digital ecosystem. This integration significantly simplifies the monitoring of the training process and improves its overall quality.
In the future, Freedom QJ League plans to scale the project to other regions of Kazakhstan, aiming to provide access to as many league clubs as possible.
