In the new season of the Freedom QJ League, each team in League A will be required to have a mental preparation coach and a coordinator on staff to successfully pass licensing.
Earlier, the league's mental preparation expert, Tamara Akhmetali, spoke about the importance of proper psychological work with young footballers. Today, SAU head Arsen Inkarbekov revealed the responsibilities of the coordinator and explained why this position is crucial for the plans to further develop coaches and players in youth football.
– The coordinator will be fully responsible for the club's interaction with the League on matters related to all three teams: U-16, U-17, and U-18. Simply put, they will ensure communication between the sports-analytical department and the coaches.
Their job responsibilities will cover a wide range of aspects. First, they will collaborate with the League to develop methodological materials, including development training programs, manuals, recommendations, and criteria for assessing the potential of coaches and players.
We will also organize joint events such as seminars, advanced training courses, and masterclasses. Additionally, we will provide regular consultations for specialists whenever they have questions.
The coordinator will ensure that the implemented training programs and methodologies are carried out in accordance with the standards. They will also analyze the effectiveness of their application and collect feedback from coaches to improve them. Additionally, their responsibilities will include working with the League's digital platform – FF Manager.
Special groups will also be organized, where coordinators can exchange experiences and discuss new methodologies with each other.
In previous seasons, we collaborated on these matters with the heads of football centers. However, it is important to note that they had to oversee not only the age groups participating in the Freedom QJ League but also all the others in their academies. It was not easy for them, and in the upcoming season, the workload will increase even further as the League continues to expand.
Now that the participating teams will have their own coordinators, we will be able to elevate the development of coaches and players to a new, European level.
