The winner of Matchweek 20 in the League's official fantasy competition scored 78 points – seven more than the squad selected by the AI model.
As a reminder, the manager with the highest-scoring squad in Fantasy QJ League at the end of each matchweek receives a KZT 20,000 gift certificate from COPA.KZ. This time, the highest-scoring squad was assembled by a user named Atos.
KFF Academy defender Daniyar Kasi played a crucial role in securing this result. He recorded 15 ball recoveries and scored a goal. Combined with his team's 4-0 clean-sheet victory over Astana, these contributions earned him 15 fantasy points. It is therefore no surprise that the League's sports analytics department named Daniyar the Player of the Matchweek.
Atos also earned 14 points thanks to the decision to name Kaisar defender Meirzhan Mirambekov as vice-captain. With Shakhter midfielder Rasul Akimov missing the matchweek, the captain's armband passed to the Wolves defender.
Akimov's absence also allowed Atos to benefit from selecting Ordabasy forward Dilshod Nazimbekov as the first substitute. He scored a goal and provided an assist against Taraz, adding another nine points to the total. KFF Academy goalkeeper Mirdier Mirakhmatov contributed nine points as well.
The squad selected by artificial intelligence for Matchweek 20 finished the weekend with 71 points.
Plescavica_Team (1428) remains the overall season leader, followed by olegforwards (1401) in second place, while V26 (1380) completes the top three.
The overall season winner will receive an iPhone 17, while the second- and third-place finishers will take home a PlayStation 5 and an Apple Watch, respectively.
Even those who have not participated in the competition before can join right now and compete every week for a gift certificate from COPA.KZ. The fantasy competition also has its own Telegram chat, bringing together hundreds of participants who are ready to help newcomers.
