Matchweek 12 of the Freedom QJ League B has concluded. Here are the most interesting moments from the past games.
Leaders keep winning – and Tolendi scores again!
KFF Academy claimed a big home win over Ulytau – the league leaders scored five goals against the visitors from Zhezkazgan, who replied only with a penalty goal by Miras Mukhambetrokhim.
Sultan Daurenov (brace), Platon Shipitsin, David Zarechny and Anuar Tolendi – who joined KFF Academy from Astana – were on target for the hosts. The 14-year-old striker now has two goals in two U18 tournament matches – an impressive achievement.
Shymkent side keeps chasing
Ontustik are also keeping pace – last year’s U17 B champions reinforced their status as the best team by goal difference, netting seven unanswered goals against Altai. Alihan Ali, Oralhan Kulmurat and Temirlan Ermek each scored twice, while Arda Mukhtarov added another.
The Shymkent team is now just one point away from catching KFF Academy – the two sides will not meet again, so the gold contenders must win all of their remaining six matches while hoping for their rivals to slip up.
A very high-scoring week
Matchweek 12 brought plenty of goals – 29 in total across five matches. Kyzylzhar defeated Elimai 5–2, other games also ended in big wins – Zhenis comfortably beat Khan-Tengri 4–0, and Zhetysu overcame Okzhetpes 4–1 in Taldykorgan.
