The second week of the Freedom QJ League is complete. Here are the main highlights from the younger age groups in League A.

Two capitals derby: Kairat dominate

 

Kairat outplayed Astana not only in the flagship tournament (4–0), but also across all three younger age categories. The U-17 clash in the capital ended 5–0, while in Almaty, Kairat secured dominant wins in U-15 and U-16 matches – 7–0 and 5–0 respectively.

 

The aggregate score across four matches: 21–0. The only goal involving Astana this weekend came via an own goal by U-15 defender Raiymbek Adilbekov.

 

Three penalties in one match

 

The U-17 match between Irtysh and Shakhter featured three penalty kicks.

 

The first was awarded in the 20th minute and converted by Shakhter midfielder Ali Sadyrbayev. Four minutes later, he had another chance, but Irtysh goalkeeper Rodion Kaisarinov made the save. Still, Shakhter added two more goals from open play before halftime.

 

In the 53rd minute, Irtysh captain Sain Kazhmukhan pulled one back. Deep into stoppage time, a third penalty was awarded – this time for Irtysh. However, Arslan Kuandykov denied Batyrkhan Adilkhanov from the spot. Final score: 3–1 to Shakhter.

 

Nadryshin’s hat-trick

 

Aktobe continue their strong run in the U-15 category.

 

After a 4–0 home win over Ordabasy, they traveled to Aktau and thrashed Kaspiy 5–0. After two rounds, Ermеk Temirzakov’s side remain the only team in U-15 yet to concede a goal.

 

A key role in the win was played by 13-year-old forward Milan Nadryshin, who scored a hat-trick. He now has 4 goals from just 5 shots in two matches.
