The Sports Analytics Unit (SAU) of Freedom QJ League continues its series of working trips across the regions of Kazakhstan.
This time, SAU representatives have arrived in Kostanay. The week-long program at the Tobol Football Center includes working meetings with the club’s management and coaching staff, measurement of players’ fitness indicators, monitoring of the training process, and observation of Matchday 3 games, where Kostanay U-16 and U-15 teams will face their peers from Caspiy.
Key topics of discussion will include infrastructure, staff development, methodology design, analysis and reporting of the training and competitive process, as well as joint projects between the League and the football center.
It should be noted that starting from this season, the collection and analysis of individual fitness data has become one of SAU’s key priorities.
The specialists conduct measurements of players’ physical indicators using OVR Performance equipment. Running, plyometric, and technical tests will be carried out multiple times throughout the year.
Data will also be collected using other tools, including smart cameras and GPS trackers. Based on this information, model characteristics for each playing position will be developed, along with specific recommendations for coaches.
