Evgeniy Yarovenko to take part in the founding conference of Sport Consulting Forum

Sport Consulting Forum is a new independent platform aimed at developing a scientific approach in elite sports — from talent identification to supporting preparation for the Olympic Games.

The conference will take place on April 29 at the Kazakh Academy of Sport and Tourism in Almaty and will bring together several generations of renowned athletes.

Alongside Evgeniy Yarovenko, the event will feature Olympic champions: Nelly Kim (artistic gymnastics, Montreal 1976 and Moscow 1980), Vladimir Smirnov (cross-country skiing, Lillehammer 1994), Yuri Melnichenko (Greco-Roman wrestling, Atlanta 1996), Yermakhan Ibraimov (boxing, Sydney 2000), Olga Shishigina (athletics, Sydney 2000) and Dmitriy Balandin (swimming, Rio 2016).

Olympic silver medalists Islam Bairamukov (freestyle wrestling, Sydney 2000) and Demeu Zhadrayev (Greco-Roman wrestling, Paris 2024), as well as four-time world weightlifting champion Ilya Ilyin, will also attend.

Welcome speeches will be delivered by Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabossynov and Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayassat Nurbek.
