Kazakhstan U16 National Team to Participate in the Freedom QJ League B Championship

This project is being implemented as part of a partnership between FIFA and the Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) and is aimed at developing youth football in the country. It is worth noting that in 2023, as part of its strategic goal of talent development, KFF held negotiations with FIFA, presenting its vision for the training of young players.

As a result of these negotiations, cooperation was established with the High Performance Department of the International Football Federation, led by the legendary coach Arsène Wenger, leading to the creation of the National Football Academy for Kazakhstan’s youth national team.

The U16 national team will play its home matches at the National Teams' training base in Talgar. The team will take the regional quota of the Almaty region to participate in the QJ League.
