The League’s Sports Analytical Unit will operate in a new format in the upcoming season.
In addition to providing overall analytical and methodological support to all participating clubs, SAU is launching a pilot project in several regions. Within this initiative, local teams will receive targeted, year-round support.
Each region included in the program will have a designated SAU expert responsible for it.
Kanat Mussatayev – Shymkent.
Maksim Shevchenko – Almaty.
Evgeny Yarovenko – Karaganda.
Filipp Boger – Astana.
In addition, Zhanna Malgazhdarova will separately oversee football centers in Shymkent, Pavlodar, and Astana in relation to the League’s women’s teams.
“As a regional inspector, my responsibilities include monitoring promising players and supporting their development.
From the age of 17, we lose many players because they have to balance training, nutrition, rest, and recovery. For example, the Kairat academy has done the right thing by building the necessary infrastructure — that’s why talented players go there.
There are now other academies as well, such as Ontustik and Atletico, and Shakhter has been transferred into private ownership — I believe this is positive for development.
With the emergence of the Freedom QJ League, the level of match coverage has improved, with high-quality broadcasts now available. Individual awards have also been introduced, such as Goal of the Week. This is very important. Young players need to understand what they should strive for and what awaits them in the future,” said League expert and Kazakhstan Footballer of the Year 1994, Kanat Mussatayev.
On April 6, Astana will host the traditional large pre-season press conference featuring Freedom Holding Corp. CEO and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Freedom QJ League Timur Turlov and League President Rokhus Shokh. The first round of the fourth season will kick off on April 18.
The first episode of QJL Talks is now on QJL Projects!
