Not a single match without a goal contribution: the impressive consistency of Alikhan Ali

Ontustik secured the Freedom QJ League B title ahead of schedule, becoming unreachable for their pursuers two weeks before the end. A key figure in the Shymkent team’s success has been Alikhan Ali.

The 17-year-old forward has featured in every matchweek played so far – scoring 20 goals and providing 7 assists in 16 matches. What’s more, he can boast not only of his productivity but also of his remarkable consistency – Alikhan has never left the pitch without a goal contribution.

This year, Ali had only one relatively “quiet” match – against Zhenis in Astana. He assisted Temirlan Yermek but failed to score himself. Nevertheless, his team won that match 3:0.

It’s worth recalling that Ali was also the leader of Ontustik last year – he scored 10 goals and made 3 assists in the Freedom QJ League U17 B, making a major contribution to his team’s championship run. Thanks to those performances, Alikhan was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Currently, Ali is the top scorer across all youth competitions in the League this season. Only Milena Nikolenko is ahead of him overall. To catch up, Alikhan needs to score four more goals in the remaining two matchweeks.

Will the Shymkent side’s No. 7 improve his stats in the upcoming matches? We’ll find out soon.
