Nuredilov in Orda, training in Spain and a new defender for Kumykov: off-season digest

Along with the new year, the time has come for training sessions of Kazakhstani clubs. Which of the players from the last season of the Freedom QJ League received an invitation to the training camps of the main teams.

Kairat U18

 

Youth football players of Kairat Ildar Mendygaliyev and Olzhas Baibek are training in the main team.

 

In the last season of the QJ League, Ildar became one of the best goalkeepers in the League: in 16 matches, Mendygaliyev conceeded only 4 goals, and in 9 games he kept a clean sheet, repelling 81% of the shots aimed at his goal.

 

 

Olzhas Baibek was recognized as the best midfielder in the QJ League for the 2023 season. Olzhas was the conductor and brain of Kairat, controlling the game in defense and launching his team's attacks. More than once Baibek was involved in Kairat-Zhastar games in the first league, and now he has a chance to prove himself in the main team.

 

Zhas Kyran U18

 

Timur Kurbanov, Emin Mussayev, Khamza Mukhametali, Ruslan Zakharov, Nurali Yelemes and Adam Gaziyev were invited to the academies of Spanish clubs. Having started training at the Matador Academy, the players later attended a tryout with the Spanish Segunda team Valladolid.

 

Timur Kurbanov was one of the best left-backs last season and was rightfully included in the symbolic team. Having played in 21 matches, Timur made 5 assists and once scored a goal.

 

Ruslan Zakharov was also one of the brightest players last season and became the best defender in the Freedom QJ League. Ruslan has a good shot and scored several goals from free kicks, which were even recognized as the best goals of the Matchday's. In total, he scored 4 goals and provided three assists.

 

Another defender Nurali Yelemes was very reliable in the center. Nurali made 317 tackles and interceptions and was successful in 58% of duels.

 

Khamza Mukhametali is the main designer of Zhas Kyran attacks, the attacking midfielder was one of the most notable players in the league. In 20 matches, Khamza scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists.

 

 

Emin Mussayev is one of the most prominent players in the league, not only on the field, but also off it, he is active on his social networks and has a large army of subscribers and fans. Emin played in all 22 of his team's matches last season and started each of them in the starting lineup. Mussayev has scored 8 goals and 3 assists.

 

Adam Gaziyev joined the team during the season and during his 7 matches he managed to attract the attention of specialists; the player has a very high percentage of accurate passes of 78%, which is a fairly high result for a striker.

 

Aktobe U18

 

4 players from the Aktobe youth team went to training camp with main team in Turkey: Sayatkhan Kussainov, Miram Kikbayev, Miras Umaniyazov and Ayan Baidavletov.

 

Sayatkhan is the best goalkeeper of the Freedom QJ League's first season, a real wall and the future of Aktobe football (at least, that’s what the red-and-white fans think). Kussainov played 16 matches last season, 9 of which he kept a clean sheet, the opponents hit his goal 79 times, and 58 of them failed to achieve their goal thanks to the confident play of the goalkeeper.

 

Miram Kikbayev showed his worth last year and was rightfully included in the team of the season, as well as in the QJ League All-Star team. The Aktobe left midfielder was the engine of the team's attacks and scored 9 goals, becoming the top scorer of the bronze medalists.

 

Ayan Baidavletov is another representative of the QJ League All-Star team, the scorer of the first goal in the match against SuperBol and the face of the official Freedom QJ League merch. Last season, Ayan had made 5 assists.

 

 

Miras Umaniyazov is the main defensive midfielder of the Aktobe club, a master of set-pieces, he accounted for 303 tackles and interceptions last season. Miras also scored 4 goals and made 3 assists.

 

Two more Aktobe players received invitations to other KPL clubs. Temirlan Murzagaliyev is already going to the second training camp with the Kaisar, and captain Damir Nuredilov went to the training camp with the current champion of Kazakhstan - Ordabasy.

 

Temirlan is a tall central defender, which is exactly what current Kaisar coach Viktor Kumykov likes. It is not surprising that the Kaisar invited Murzagaliyev. The stopper played in 21 matches last season and looked confident beyond his years on the pitch, making 341 tackles and interceptions and winning 201 duels.

 

Damir Nuredilov is one of the notable players in the QJ League with spectacular goals and equally spectacular celebrations. Nuredilov is a true leader of the Aktobe team both on and off the field.

 

 

Representative of Ordabasy Daniyar Shadyev told why the champions invited the young Aktobe player to the training camp:

 

«My partner Ulugbek Assanbayev and I noticed him in the QJ League games. We are keeping an eye on him and intend to take him to training camp with Ordabasy. Talented guy. Just as I once noticed Samorodov at the age of 16, we noticed Damir at the age of 17. We want to develop him into a national team player, he has everything for this».

 

Caspiy U18

 

Zhaner Zhazmaganbetov, Rassul Zhumabay, Aslan Gabiden, Timur Gaziz and Beybarys Kaldybay began preparing for the new season as part of the main team.

 

Zhaner Zhazmaganbetov is the captain of the team, he spent most of the season playing for the reserve team, but every match in the QJ League showed himself very brightly. In 2023, Zhaner made his debut for the main team, and now has a chance to gain a foothold in the main team of Caspiy.

 

Rasul Zhumabay, the leader of the team, was included in the QJ League team of the season, as well as in the QJ League All-Star team. One of the best midfielders in the QJ League. He scored 9 goals and made 3 assists.

 

Timur Gaziz, a defensive midfielder of the Caspiy youth team, managed to make his debut in the main team, where he showed himself well. Now the midfielder has received an invitation to foothold in the main team.

 

Aslan Gabiden is the author of one of the most beautiful goals of the past season in the QJ League All-Star match. He also managed to make his debut for the main team in 2023. In the QJ League he was the driving force of Caspiy attacks, making 2 assists and scoring 5 goals.

 

 

Beybarys Kaldybay is the main goalkeeper of the Caspiy youth team. Last season, in 13 matches, he conceded 20 goals and made 45 saves.

 

«We look at all the local guys who were on our main team, in the reserve team and who participated in the QJ League. About 50 people attend the training. I think that for the next training camp we will assemble a good team», – said Caspiy sports director Azamat Karabalayev.
