The President of the Freedom QJ League, Rokhus Shokh, summarized the results of the league's second season
– Friends, let's celebrate together – that is what matters most. I want to highlight those who made it all possible. This is the merit of our QJ League team, which is primarily made up of young Kazakhstani talents. They are the ones creating this celebration, this amazing project. They are truly remarkable.
I must say, the season turned out to be absolutely brilliant. I was particularly impressed by the competition for the gold medals in the younger age group. The intrigue lasted until the very last minute – I emphasize, the very last minute! It was a big surprise since many had placed their bets on the Kairat Academy beforehand. However, the Astana school proved that they, too, have strong potential. This is incredibly encouraging because it is in such healthy competitive environments that strong football players are born. There is no other way.
Now, regarding the senior age group, where the fight for the QJ League's main Cup is ongoing. Here, too, an exciting battle for the prize places unfolded. I feel sorry for the Shakhtyor Karaganda, which lost in the last matchweek to my fellow countrymen from Taraz. Of course, I am happy for Taraz, but I must objectively acknowledge that Shakhtyor had an excellent season. They have wonderful young players. However, this is football, and in the end, Ordabasy and Taraz took second and third places. Such competition is fantastic. I repeat, it is under such conditions that young football players grow and develop. This is exactly why we started our project.
Today, I want to once again thank all the participants, and first and foremost – Timur Turlov. He is the person who believed in the project when no one in Kazakhstan believed or understood what we wanted to achieve. Timur Turlov immediately saw the potential because he is a visionary and a strategist. This is his gift from the Almighty. What is especially important is that he does everything sincerely, wholeheartedly, for the youth of Kazakhstan. That is why he succeeds. And so do we!
