The second week of Freedom QJ League W brought plenty of excitement. Here's a look at the key highlights.

Incredible performance by Asyl Pazyl

Astana thrashed Zhetysu 7–1, with 14-year-old striker Asyl Pazyl putting on a show. She was involved in all seven goals, scoring four and assisting three.

After two rounds, Pazyl now leads the season’s goal+assist chart with five goals and four assists. Close behind her is Sofia Yagudina from Kairat, who shares the top scorer spot with five goals but trails by one assist.

Kairat dominate in the ‘Kazakhstan derby’

In Aktobe, the hosts opened the scoring in the 4th minute through Alua Kaliyeva. However, the drama lasted only until halftime — just before the break, Kairat equalized and then took the lead. In the second half, the yellow-and-blacks added five more goals, sealing a 7–1 win.

Notably, 15-year-old Angelina Oster scored twice for Kairat against her former club. Out of respect, she didn’t celebrate her first goal. After her second, she ran to the stands to hug her mother.

Ordabasy continue their winning run

Erbol Sarman’s side secured another win, this time away in Pavlodar — with goals from Balnur Yergeshbek and Balsezim Talipbay. Alongside Kairat and Astana, Ordabasy remain one of the three teams to have won both of their opening matches. It’s worth noting that the Shymkent-based club were last year’s national champions in the U15 girls' division (2008–09 born).

Shakhter bounce back at home

After a heavy loss in Pavlodar, Shakhter Karagandy responded in style, defeating Tobol 6–2 on home soil. Impressively, all six goals came from different scorers: Darya Martyanova, Damira Maksat, Malika Sarsen, Sogdiana Mirzakhmetova, Saida Dyusembayeva, and Tolganai Amantai. For Tobol, Amura Karabaeva and Alina Sartaieva found the net.

Tobol finished the match with 10 players for the second game in a row. In the 52nd minute, Anna Yashchenko was sent off for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
