Freedom Media Cyber Cup: Abraev and Sharabadin Ready for a Rematch

Daniyar Sharabadin from Kaisar and Maksat Abraev from Astana are among the participants. Both performed well last year and met in the semifinals. Abraev won that match but later lost to Bakhtiyar Aldashev in the final.

"Last year's tournament was held at a very high level, I really enjoyed it, it was a good experience, but I was upset to lose. I thought I would win. This year, my goals are high – I’ve become stronger and I’m aiming for victory", Sharabadin said ahead of the tournament.

Daniyar is confident about his team choice: "If I get first pick, I’ll definitely choose Real Madrid, even though I support Barcelona. It’s just that this year Real is very strong in-game – the cards are very playable. I love playing with them".

As for Abraev, he said he was considering several teams – in addition to Real Madrid, his list includes Bayern Munich and PSG. "They have fast attackers, strong finishing and dribbling", he explained.

Maksat admitted: "Last year’s tournament was well organized, but emotionally it didn’t go quite the way I wanted".

Now he has a chance to take revenge for last year's final defeat. Moreover, Abraev and Sharabadin ended up in the same group, which gives Daniyar extra motivation.
