The closing ceremony of the Freedom QJ League season took place in Almaty

On 1 November, the closing ceremony of the second season of the Freedom QJ League – the youth football championship of Kazakhstan – took place at the Almaty Theatre. It was attended by players, coaches, as well as management and staff of both clubs and the League itself

Actor Daniyar Alshinov and TV presenter Olga Spirina were the hosts of the gala, which was held in the style of spy theme.

 

Champions of the main tournament of the QJ League, as in the past, the debut year, became the pupils of Kairat Almaty. At the closing ceremony in a solemn atmosphere, the young men raised the cup above their heads. Victory in the championship brought them not only a trophy, but also a ticket to international competitions: yellow-black will again represent Kazakhstan in the next UEFA Youth League.

 

In addition, the League announced the winners in 15 nominations of the season – almost all awards bear the names of both veterans of Kazakhstani football, and modern stars.

 

Bakhtiyer Zainutdinov Award for the most valluable player – Dastan Satpayev (Kairat)

 

Eduard Son Award for the best striker – Nurdaulet Orynbassar (Taraz)

 

Evgeniy Yarovenko Award for the best defender – Amirbek Bazarbayev (Kairat)

 

Anton Shokh Award for the best midfielder – Roman Assylbayev (Shakhtyor)

 

Alexandr Ubykin Award for the best goalkeeper – Yan Lalov (Shakhtyor)

 

Evstafiy Pekhlevanidi Award for the best scorer – Bagdaulet Nuraly (Ordabasy)

 

Giorgi Khutidi Award for the best coach – Ruslanzhan Raimbakiyev (Kairat)

 

Askhat Tagybergen Award for the best goal of the season – Akhan Serik (Ordabasy)

 

Igor Shatskiy Award for the best save – Artyom Pantsa (Ontustik)

 

Alexander Kulakov Award for the best referee – Sagadat Idrissov

 

Best Observer – Sergali Ospanov

 

Dias Omarov Award for the best media service – Astana

 

Seilda Baishakov Award for Best Marketing – Tobol

 

Evgeniy Rott Award for the best manager – Sergey Kogay (Ordabasy)

 

Best manager – Viktor Kasharin (Tobol)

 

The shortlists in the nominations were compiled by voting among players, coaches, experts and League specialists. In addition, the symbolic team of the season was announced at the ceremony. It included the following players.

 

Goalkeeper: Yan Lalov (Shakhtyor)

 

Defenders: Ivan Pivovarov (Tobol), Daniyar Tashpulatov (Kairat), Amirbek Bazarbayev (Kairat)

 

Midfielders: Azizjon Berdiyev (Taraz), Roman Assylbayev (Shakhtyor), Alan Azamat (Astana), Azamat Tuyakbaev (Kairat)

 

Forwards: Nurdaulet Orynbassar (Taraz), Bagdaulet Nuraly (Ordabasy), Dastan Satpayev (Kairat).

 

Another highlight of the evening was a charity auction with unique lots, the main among which was a Barcelona shirt signed by eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi and equipped with a certificate of authenticity. It was sold for 8 million tenge in a heated auction.

 

All proceeds from the auction – 14.7 million tenge – will be spend to the needs of the Zhanuya orphanage.
