Immediately after the conclusion of the pre-season press conference, a seminar for representatives of clubs participating in the Freedom QJ League kicked off at the Radisson Hotel Astana. Attendees included heads and coordinators of football academies, as well as media officers and marketing specialists.

The two-day training program was divided into two tracks. One of them, organized by the Sports and Analytics Department, focused on the footballing side of operations. The first day was opened by the head of the department, Arsen Inkarbekov, who delivered a welcoming address to the participants.

Following that, league analyst Igor Shpanera presented new projects that will be launched in the upcoming season: Methodological Support, Player of the Future, and Coach of the Future. After the lunch break, analyst Dmitry Vasilyev introduced another new project, Analytical Support, while mental performance expert Tamara Akhmetali spoke about the importance and specifics of team building.

At the same time, in a different hall, media and marketing workshops were being held.

Head of the League’s Media and Marketing Department Anton Lysiak addressed club staff, emphasizing that creating compelling narratives and working effectively with news hooks is key to attracting potential sponsors.

The specialists split into teams and worked on practical case studies in a competitive, game-like format, tackling scenarios in crisis PR, social media management, and partner negotiations.

Experts — Anton Lyssyak, commentator Alimzhan Askar, journalist Dmitry Dubovitsky, and head of communications at BC Astana Aliya Roshchupkina — assessed the teams’ work, provided feedback, and announced the winners of the friendly competition.

The second day of the seminar will take place on Tuesday, April 1.
