Kazakhstani football has a very rich history. Even the most famous players started as young academy trainees, just stepping from youth competitions into major tournaments.
We present to you the second part of our historical collection on the youngest debutants and goal scorers in the history of KPL-2025 clubs. We hope these records will serve as a strong motivation for young players who are still preparing to make their debut in professional football.
Kaisar
Youngest debutant: Aset Menlikhoja – 17 years, 1 month, 13 days
Youngest goal scorer: Aldan Baltayev – 17 years, 8 months, 9 days
Aset Menlikhoja became the youngest player in the history of the Kyzylorda club when he started in the Kazakhstan Cup 2006 match against Vostok. After a 3-3 draw in regular time, the game went to a penalty shootout, where Kaisar narrowly lost.
After finishing his playing career, Aset Bolatuly continued working in football—he was an assistant coach for Kaysar U-18 during their debut season in the Freedom QJ League.
In the same match where Menlikhoja made his debut, Aldan Baltayev also played his first game for Kaisar's senior team—but he was two months older than Aset. However, in September of that same year, he managed to score a goal. Coming on in the 63rd minute of a KPL match against Tobol in Kostanay, Aldan found the net in the 72nd minute, scoring a "consolation goal" as Kyzylorda's team suffered a 1-5 defeat.
Kyzylzhar
Youngest debutant: Timur Muldinov – 16 years, 7 months
Youngest goal scorer: Sergey Skorykh – 17 years, 4 months, 19 days
Kyzylzhar academy graduate Timur Muldinov, who still plays for the Petropavlovsk club, made his senior team debut in 2010, coming on in the 85th minute of a Kazakhstan Cup match against Asbest from Zhitikara.
The goal-scoring record has belonged to Sergey Skorykh for nearly a quarter of a century. He came on in the second half of a KPL 2001 match against Kaisar and doubled his team's lead in the 88th minute, securing a 2-0 victory.
Okzhetpes
Youngest debutant: Zakhar Porokh – 16 years, 2 months, 25 days
Youngest goal scorer: Zakhar Porokh – 16 years, 4 months, 11 days
The youngest player and goal scorer in the history of the Kokshetau club is a Freedom QJ League 2023 player — Zakhar Porokh, who played five matches in the league for Ontustik.
He made his debut for Okzhetpes in March 2024 during a Kazakhstan Cup match against Almaty’s AKAS. In April, Zakhar took the field in the 4th round of the First League and scored one of his team's goals against SD Family.
Ordabasy
Youngest debutant: Evgeny Levin – 16 years, 9 months, 7 days
Youngest goal scorer: Kairat Ashirbekov – 17 years, 10 months, 25 days
Evgeny Levin played his first match for the Shymkent club in April 2009, coming on in the 72nd minute of the 6th round KPL match against Kaysar in Kyzylorda.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the youth goal-scoring record for Ordabasy. At 17 years old, Kairat Ashirbekov scored his first goal for what was then Dostyk in September 2000, upsetting Kokshetau’s Akmola (the former name of Okzhetpes) on home turf. His goal saved the team from defeat in the 26th round of the KPL, setting the score at 1-1, which remained until the end of the match.
That same year, the young midfielder, after scoring another goal, left the club to play for Taraz and later became a legend at Aktobe. In 2010, he returned to his home club and spent the last eight years of his playing career there.
Tobol
Youngest debutant: Amanzhol Bakitzhanov – 16 years, 3 months, 20 days
Youngest goal scorer: Nurali Zhaksylyk – 17 years, 8 months, 5 days
Amanzhol Bakitzhanov played 6 matches for Tobol U-18 in the Freedom QJ League 2024, registering two assists. In the same season, he made his debut for the senior team in the Kazakhstan Cup, in a victorious match for Kostanay against Kaysar, although he only appeared on the field in the 88th minute.
Nurali Zhaksylyk also scored his first goal for the senior team in the Kazakhstan Cup—but in 2022. At that time, Taraz handed Tobol a crushing 6-1 defeat, and it was Zhaksylyk who managed to score the consolation goal.
Turan
Youngest debutant: Tenizbay Abdurakhmanov – 18 years, 3 months, 14 days
Youngest goal scorer: Luka Zgursky – 19 years, 2 months, 25 days
Both records of Turan are likely to be broken in the near future, as both current holders of these achievements were already of legal age at the time of their milestones. Tenizbay Abdurakhmanov came on the field in the 72nd minute of the home match in the 8th round of the 2020 First League against Altay.
As for Luka Zgursky, the Moscow CSKA academy graduate made history for Turan this season—scoring against Okzhetpes in the very first round of the KPL. Before that, the record had belonged to Zikrillo Sultaniyazov for two years, who, at the time of his debut, was three months younger.
Ulytau
Youngest debutant: Emin Mussayev – 17 years, 4 months, 10 days
Youngest goal scorer: Yerassyl Sarsenbay – 18 years, 2 months, 11 days
Ulytau is still a very young club, having been founded in 2022. It’s no surprise that both records were set last year. The youngest player to have played for the team from Zhezkazgan is Emin Mussayev, who came on in the 67th minute of the Kazakhstan Cup match against SD Family.
A year before his debut, Emin Mussayev played for Zhas Kyran in the Freedom QJ League. Over the course of 22 matches, he scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists. His goal against Shakhtyor was recognized as the best goal of the 21st round in the first season of the League.
The youngest goal scorer in the history of Ulytau is another player who competed in the League — Yerassyl Sarsenbay. The midfielder played 17 matches for Ontustyk in the 2023 season, scoring 11 goals and providing 4 assists. After transferring to the Zhezkazgan club, he participated in the crushing victory over Aktobe-M in the 19th round of the 2024 First League, scoring in the 89th minute, just 7 minutes after coming on as a substitute.
