Little specialists doing grown-up work: how the Changan Kids Tour went

On October 5, Kazakhstan celebrated Teacher’s Day. One of the most beloved traditions of this holiday is when children and adults switch places for a day.

This year, that idea found its way into the Freedom QJ League. Organized together with the League’s premium partner, the event was called the Changan Kids Tour.

Young football enthusiasts tried on a variety of “adult” roles – both on and off the pitch. In matches held in Almaty, Astana, Pavlodar, and Taraz, boys and girls took on the duties of announcers, media officers, camera operators, and coaches.

The kids interviewed players and coaches after the matches, drew tactical plans on whiteboards, and experienced unforgettable emotions. One of the highlights came during the “Irtysh” vs “Ordabasy” match – commentator Dmitriy Nesterenko was joined by his son Matvey in the booth that evening.

The Changan Kids Tour also received special treatment on the League’s social media – all graphics were designed in the style of children’s drawings.
