Olzhas Baibek – Best midfielder of the QJ League

The Freedom QJ League Awards 2023 ceremony took place in Almaty, where the best players, coaches and employees of football centers and academies were honored at the end of the season.

 

Olzhas Baibek became the best in the Best Midfielder nomination. Baibek scored 3 goals, made 224 tackles and completed 84% of his passes. Olzhas was also recognized as the best player of the Matchday X.

 

«I’m in a great mood, I like everything, and I’m a little worried. The season was very intense, the most difficult game was with Aktobe, they were in the lead and it was important to beat them both at home and away. I look up to Askhat Tagybergen and Andres Iniesta. In the future I want to play for Kairat and maybe in Barcelona», – said Olzhas Baibek after receiving the award.

 

Let us remind you that the nomination Best Midfielder is named after Anton Shokh, a graduate of the Zhambyl football school, USSR champion, winner of the USSR Cup and Super Cup, former head coach of the Kazakhstan youth team.The winners in the QJ League Awards nominations were chosen by voting among coaches, football players, journalists, experts and legends of Kazakh football.
