The winners of the first stage of the Freedom QJ League Media and Marketing Championship (MMC) have been announced. This competition features the communication departments of the football centers participating in the League.
The project, successfully launched last year, aims to motivate specialists toward systematic, creative, and high-quality work. It drives clubs to develop their social media presence, produce top-tier content, expand their audience, attract partners, and build an even stronger brand.
The MMC consists of two tracks: Media and Marketing. Participants earn points for completing various tasks, ranging from content projects and matchday branding to fan engagement, engagement analytics, and audience growth.
As part of the competition, the season is divided into six stages. Following each period, specialists submit reports which are then analyzed by the League staff. The top-performing clubs in each track receive financial rewards.
The first stage covers the period from April 18 to May 10 inclusive. Shakhter emerged as the leader of the Media track at the end of this stage, securing 345 points. Caspiy took second place (220), followed by Ontustik in third (216).
Tobyl leads the Marketing track with 190 points. Shakhter (185) and Ordabasy (165) also made it into the top three.
The second stage of the MMC is already underway. The overall leaders after the first two stages will be invited to the QJL All Star match in Almaty. Furthermore, the season's best media service and marketing department will be honored with special awards at the annual QJL Awards ceremony. Every club still has a chance to climb the rankings and fight for the ultimate victory.
