The Sports and Analytical Unit of the Freedom QJ League has named the best players of League A (in the U-17, U-16, and U-15 age categories) and League B for May. In addition, the SAB determined the coach of the month.
Freedom QJ League U-17: Rakhman Aman (Ordabasy)
The Shymkent side won all four of their May fixtures, and Rakhman played a vital role in that success. Five goals and two assists—the numbers speak for themselves.
Freedom QJ League U-16: Maksim Bonet (Shakhter)
The Miners' midfielder scored a goal in three of his four appearances in May, with Karaganda winning every single one. On top of that, he delivered an assist against Aktobe—it was Maksim's 1+1 performance that secured a narrow, crucial victory for Shakhter.
Freedom QJ League U-15: Artur Garifullin (Tobyl)
The Tobyl forward has become one of the biggest revelations of the new season. He now has 11 goals to his name, 8 of which were bagged in May. The 14-year-old striker has also racked up two assists.
Freedom QJ League B: Aleksey Poberezhny (Zhaiyk)
The Uralsk midfielder scored twice and provided one assist during the opening four rounds of the Freedom QJ League B. His team leads the table with a perfect 12 points out of 12, and Aleksey made a massive contribution to this winning streak.
Coach of the Month (May): Ruslan Zhangirov (Zhaiyk)
As mentioned above, Zhaiyk enjoyed a brilliant start to the new campaign, and no team has managed to take points off Ruslan Zhangirov's side yet. It is no surprise that the SAB selected him as the top coach.
Back in April, the best player awards went to Tamerlan Sarsymbayev (Kairat, U-17), Miron Ishchenko (Atletico, U-16), and Sanzhar Baidavletov (Aktobe, U-15). Zhas Kyran U-18 boss Oleg Trofimov was named Coach of the Month.
In the flagship tournament, the man of the match is determined at the end of each round. Since the opening weekend, the honors have gone to Adiyat Otarbek (Ordabasy, Week I), Daniil Nurzhanov (Tobyl, Week II), Rasul Akimov (Shakhter, Weeks III and V), Nikita Lisokhmar (KFF Academy, Week IV), and Ayan Amanzholov (Aktobe, Week VI).
