The Freedom QJ League continues to impress by producing talents who are taking their first steps in senior careers. The offseason offers the perfect opportunity to reflect on statistics and discover how the league’s graduates are faring. Who has earned a spot on senior teams? Who has made waves abroad? And who has emerged as a leader among youth squads? This offseason digest highlights the key moments and numbers that tell the story of these rising stars in Kazakhstani football.

 

Kairat

 

Ildar Mendygaliyev, whose spectacular saves defined the league’s first season, is steadily advancing toward a spot in the senior team. Last season, he played one match in the QJ League while spending most of his time with Kairat-Zhastar. Danila Buch appeared in 15 matches for the U17 team, keeping a clean sheet in five of them. Sherkhan Kalmurza, another goalkeeper from Kairat, ended the season with 17 matches and four clean sheets.

 

Dastan Satpayev, a natural leader and talent as well as the MVP of the QJ League’s second season, played 12 matches, scoring 19 goals and providing seven assists. Dastan became the youngest debutant in the club’s history and has even been on trial with Chelsea in London, with rumors of a transfer as early as next week.

 

Ramazan Bagdat showcased phenomenal scoring prowess with eight goals in eight matches. He spent most of the season with Kairat-Zhasstar and earned the title of the First League’s Best Young Player of the Season.

 

Ismail Bekbolat stepped up as a key player for the U18 team after senior players moved up to Kairat-Zhastar. He played 19 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.

 

Ordabasy

 

Bagdaulet Nuraly had a breakout season with 22 goals in 22 matches, averaging a goal per game. His performance earned him a call-up to the senior team.

 

Timur Rakhimov, despite his young age, is making his presence felt: 18 matches, five goals, and two assists. He is among the top players for the U17 team.

 

Zhassulan Amir demonstrated versatility, transitioning from left-back to defensive midfielder. He played 20 matches, scored six goals, and provided four assists. His contributions were pivotal in Ordabasy securing silver medals.

 

Shakhtyor

 

Roman Assylbayev, named the league’s Best Midfielder, played 20 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists. Roman was not only the team’s engine but also a key element of its success.

 

Aktobe

 

Sayatkhan Kussainov reaffirmed his high level, making 77 saves in 15 matches, with two clean sheets. The goalkeeper boasts a high save percentage and reliability.

 

Miram Kikbayev, who scored two goals in four QJ League matches, also debuted for the senior team in the League Cup, delivering a solid performance. He spent most of the season with Aktobe-Zhas.

 

Kaisar

 

Dinmukhammed Rustemuly played in six matches, scoring two goals, one of which was nominated for "Goal of the Year." Though he spent most of the season with the reserves, Dinmukhammed remains a crucial part of the club’s plans and has been invited to the senior team.

 

Tobol

 

Amanzhol Bakitzhanov, captain of the U18 team, exemplified leadership. In six QJ League matches, he provided two assists. He spent most of the season with the reserves, continuing to grow and support the team, ultimately earning a call-up to the senior squad.
