QJ League together with Igor Shatskiy visited the pupils of the Asem orphanage

On December 15, the QJ League team went to Karaganda, where, together with the League ambassador Igor Shatskiy and Shakhtyor U18 football player Gleb Makridov, they visited the pupils of the Asem orphanage.

 

Arriving at the orphanage, the guests were immediately greeted by the attendants from among the orphanage's pupils, who escorted the guests to the assembly hall. Having gathered in the assembly hall, Igor Shatskiy, Gleb Makridov and QJ League media-officer Bekezhan Ardakuly told the children about the League, their football career, promoted a healthy lifestyle and answered many interesting questions. And then they expressed a desire to show their talents by singing songs, playing the accordion, dombyra, guitar and reciting poems. At the end of the performances, Igor Shatskiy and the League staff presented the children with a new large TV and an Xbox console as a gift.

 

«Today we, together with the QJ League, came to the Asem orphanage to please the children on the eve of the holidays with memorable gifts. The guys showed us very interesting and talented performances. We can say that we gave each other a lot of joyful and positive emotions today», – Igor Shatskiy did not hide his emotions.

 

The meeting did not end there, a bus was waiting outside for the children to take them to the indoor football arena Nomad. Where the kids had the opportunity to play football with Shatskiy, Makridov and several players from the Shakhtyor U16 team, which will make its debut in the Freedom QJ League next season. In addition, animators, various gaming activities, and a small but very tasty buffet awaited the children at the arena. And after the match more memorable gifts were given to thee childrens: a football kit, a sweet set and a QJ League sticker pack. Having taken a memorable photo, several children expressed a desire to say a few words and thank Igor Shatskiy, Shakhtyor’s young football players and the League for this wonderful day.
