Rokhus Shokh: «In Almaty the QJ League again gathered a full stands!»

– It was a great match in Almaty – a rich pre-match program, full stands and brilliant football. I think that the intensity of the match between Zhas Kyran and Taraz could give a head start to many games. Once again, the QJ League matchday-event gathered a full stands, even if this time at a small stadium. Separately, I would like to note that a lot of young people comes to league games, including many girls in all cities. This project actually not only gives young football players a chance to prove themselves, but also educates a new generation of fans, which is extremely important. This season, the QJ League team held 6 festivals in different cities of Kazakhstan, starting in the capital with the opening match, and ending with an eco-event in Almaty, and at each of our festivals there were many very young spectators who appreciated these events.

We can safely say that QJ League, being a large–scale national system project of the Kazakhstan Football Federation, which is fully supported and funded by Freedom Holding Corp., has been solving its main task since the first season – contributing to the development of football in Kazakhstan. As you know, youth football is one of the priorities of the KFF, and the president of the Federation Adlet Barmenkulov personally pays a lot of attention to the League, constantly keeps his finger on the pulse. The match in Almaty was no exception - immediately after the game, Adlet Nazarbayevich and I discussed its results. This time, unfortunately, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the League, Timur Turlov, could not get to the stadium because of his busy schedule, but he, too, was interested in how the event went after the game, and in general, he is very closely following and actively participating in the life of the project.

Our team’s work on exciting events this season does not end with the match in Almaty – there are two more Matchday's ahead in which we will identify the silver and bronze medalists, and there the intrigue, I tell you, will remain until the last. Just like at the bottom of the table, where 4-5 teams fight for points in each match, no one wants to take last place. This is perhaps even more important! The teams that have long lost their chances for medals have not given up, so the sports competition will remain at a high level until the last minutes of the season. Personally, in a sense, this is even more interesting for me to follow than the intrigue in the top threeе. At the end of the month we will summarize the results of the first debut season. We are planning a large and interesting closing ceremony in Almaty, but we will tell you about it in detail later.
