Seminar for League Coaches: How the Practical Sessions Went

The day is fully dedicated to practical sessions. Participants were divided into six groups, each of which had prepared a training session on the assigned topic (“Rotation”) during the first day.

Each practical session began with a presentation of the training plan for the players assisting at the seminar – boys and girls from the football centers of Astana and Zhenis. Each group was given 45 minutes to conduct their session. During the process, participants received feedback from the League’s Sports Analytics Unit experts, which allowed them to make adjustments on the spot.

The evening part of the seminar will be dedicated to analyzing the completed training sessions. Each micro-group will review the session together with the expert from the League’s Sports Analytical Unit assigned to them.

The third and final day of the seminar will take place on Friday. Based on the theoretical and practical activities, the coaches of the football centers will develop useful and applicable tools for implementing rotation in their teams.

It should be noted that the seminar is organized by the League’s Sports Analytics Unit in cooperation with the Technical Center of the Kazakhstan Football Federation. Thanks to this initiative, coaches can receive the required training hours free of charge to renew their licenses in accordance with the UEFA convention.
