We continue to highlight players with experience competing in the Freedom QJ League who have made it onto their clubs' rosters for KPL-2025.

In the first part, we mentioned players from Ordabasy, Aktobe, and Kaisar. Today, we take a closer look at the rosters of Kairat, Astana, Zhetisu, Turan, and Tobol, as well as a newly registered Kaisar player. These young talents have a chance to shine at the senior level in the upcoming season.

Kairat

The Almaty club has included five players in its roster: defender Daniyar Tashpulatov, midfielder Olzhas Baibek, and forwards Dastan Satpayev, Ismail Bekbolat, and Ramazan Bagdat.

Tashpulatov spent two seasons in the Freedom QJ League, making him a two-time league champion. During this time, he played 38 matches, scoring three goals and providing 16 assists. He was also included in the squad for the match against Crvena Zvezda.

Last season, while competing in the QJ League, Daniyar also played nine matches in the First League and made four appearances in the UEFA Youth League.

Olzhas Baibek played 12 matches in his debut QJ League season, scoring three goals. His pass accuracy was 84%, completing 448 successful passes out of 536 attempts. He was named the best player of Matchweek X and was also awarded the title of Best Midfielder of the Freedom QJ League 2023.

Last season, Olzhas Baibek not only played in the First League, where he scored seven goals in 20 matches, but also made his KPL debut, appearing three times in the top division. He scored a crucial goal against Ordabasy, making the yellow-blacks favorites in the title race. Baibek also captained Kairat in the UEFA Youth League and found the net in the first match against Academia Rebeja.

Dastan Satpayev became one of the biggest stars in Kazakh football after signing a contract with Chelsea. Like Tashpulatov, he played in the Freedom QJ League for two seasons.

He was recognized for scoring the best goal of Matchweek III in the 2023 season, but truly flourished in the following campaign. Dastan earned two Player of the Week awards, was selected for the squad against Crvena Zvezda, and received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the 2024 season. Over two years in the Freedom QJ League, Satpayev played 28 matches, scoring 26 goals and providing 10 assists. In addition, he made five appearances and scored one goal in the First League 2024.

The 16-year-old showcased his talent in the UEFA Youth League, scoring one goal and providing one assist in four matches. Dastan also featured for the senior team in the League Cup and Super Cup, but he has yet to make his KPL debut.

Ismail Bekbolat scored 16 goals and provided 7 assists in 19 matches during the Freedom QJ League 2024 season. He was also named the Best Player of Matchweek XX. Additionally, he made two appearances in the UEFA Youth League and three in the First League.

Over two seasons in the Freedom QJ League, Ramazan Bagdat played 26 matches, scoring 23 goals and providing 8 assists. He was named Player of the Week twice — once each season — and in 2023, he claimed the titles of Top Scorer and Best Forward of the championship. Additionally, Ramazan was selected for the Freedom QJ League squad for the match against SuperBol.

For most of the 2024 season, Bagdat played in the First League, where he demonstrated impressive scoring ability, netting 11 goals in 15 matches. He also made four appearances in the UEFA Youth League, scoring one goal.

Astana

The capital club's roster includes defender Sanzhar Anuarov. However, he played only one match in the Freedom QJ League, featuring in the first half of a game against Zhas Kyran in the summer of 2023. At the same time, Anuarov made 25 appearances for Astana's youth team in the First League 2023.

Last year, Sanzhar Anuarov made his debut for the senior team, appearing briefly in the first leg of the League Cup semifinal against Yelimay.

Zhetisu

Zhansultan Mukhametzhanov has been included in the club’s squad for the season. The midfielder played seven matches for Zhas Kyran in the Freedom QJ League 2023, scoring two goals. In the same season, he featured in 21 matches in the First League, recording one goal and five assists.

Turan

Yerassyl Sarsenbay will represent the Turkistan club in the upcoming season. In the Freedom QJ League 2023, he played 17 matches for Ontustik, scoring 11 goals and providing 4 assists.

But that’s not all: Yerassyl Sarsenbay was named Player of the Week twice and was selected for the Freedom QJ League All-Star Game against SuperBol. He also has experience playing for Turkistan, featuring in two matches in the First League 2023 and three games in the Kazakhstan Cup.

Last season, Sarsenbay played for Ulytau, scoring one goal in 18 matches in the First League. He also made two appearances in the Kazakhstan Cup 2024.
